Strike on December 9 at the RATP: ten metro lines closed in Paris, Monday

    For the first Monday since the start of the strike on public transport Thursday, December 5, 2019, traffic will be very disrupted on December 9 on the Paris metro lines.

    Very disturbed since Thursday, December 5, 2019 and the beginning of the mobilization against the pension reform, the metro will not know any improvement for Monday, December 9, in Paris. Ten lines will be closed to travelers. Only line 9 will be more open during peak hours (6.30am – 9.30am and 4.30pm – 7.30pm).

    Automatic lines open, 9 more open
    The automatic lines will run on Monday, like some lines, including the 9 opened in the west:

    Line 1: normal circulation with risk of saturation;
    Line 2: interrupted traffic;
    Line 3: interrupted traffic;
    Line 3bis: interrupted traffic;
    Line 4: one train in three at rush hour;
    Line 5: interrupted traffic;
    Line 6: interrupted traffic;
    Line 7: one train in three at rush hour;
    Line 7bis: interrupted traffic;
    Line 8: one in three trains between Créteil Pointe du Lac and Reuilly-Diderot at rush hour;
    Line 9: one train out of two between Nation and Mairie de Montreuil, at rush hour; one in four trains between Pont de Sèvres and Franklin Roosevelt at rush hour;
    Line 10: interrupted traffic;
    Line 11: interrupted traffic;
    Line 12: interrupted traffic;
    Line 13: interrupted traffic;
    Line 14: normal circulation with risk of saturation.
